Workhorse Inc has announced to begin production of W15, a new hybrid pickup truck, in 2018. W15, as an extended-range vehicle, is said to be able to help government fleets meet green vehicle procurement initiatives. Workhorse has already received non-binding letter of intents including a potential 500-truck order from Duke Energy. Specifications have been published on their website.
