OWL Detects Overhead Obstacles for Oversize Loads

The new Overhead Wire Laser-Detector, or OWL, is magnetically mounted to the top of a rig and can notify the driver/operator of any overhanging obstacles that could damage the vehicle or cargo. The OWL takes up to 32 measurements across the road 10 times per second and can be related to the driver/operator. It will also show obstacles in real time if going 25 miles per hour or less.
