Kia Recalls Optima for Driveshaft

By Team Writer / October 15, 2016

Kia Motors America is recalling 12,214 2016-model year Kia Optima sedans — each equipped with a 2.4L engine — because the right front axle driveshaft may crack and fail, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Kia dealers will replace the front axle driveshaft, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin Nov. 29.
