The company BYD, which manufactures electric vehicles, will have it’s truck demoed by the New York and New Jersey Port Authority for a number of weeks. It is being used as a potential alternative to the current diesel trucks that the Port Authority currently uses. The switch to electric trucks could have benefits for climate and public health in the future.
