By Team Writer / November 21, 2016

A new veterans program is being launched within the Baylor Trucking company, in order to honor their workers. The company will honor its Veterans with a $.01 per mile increase, $1 increase for local drivers and a 1% salary increase for office associates. The program also offers special trucks that are proudly wrapped in the American flag. Each Veteran will receive a special decal notating his/her service branch.

Key Takeaways:

  • Baylor Trucking has expanded its Veteran’s Recognition Program with a pay increase honoring all of those who have served.
  • The Veteran’s Recognition Program also provides veteran drivers with specially designed trucks displaying images of the U.S. flag, the Constitution, and patriotic themes.
  • Baylor Trucking itself was founded by a veteran, Chester Baylor, who started the company in 1946 with just a single truck.

“”For the sacrifices these brave men and women have made for our country, this program is another way our company can say thank you,” said Cari Baylor, president.”
